I love Tabasco, but it does have quite a lot of sugar and preservatives on it. So why not make your own? It's actually quite easy, and it last quite a while, so let's get to the recipe!
1 cup chillies (choose the type of chillies according to how hot you like your sauce)
400 ml of red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon of salt
1 garlic clove
1 tbsp of stevia
Nutmeg to taste
Beat the pepper, garlic and vinegar in the blender for a minute.
Add the salt, sweetener and nutmeg.
Beat for additional 30 seconds.
Pass through a fine sieve.
Store in pots with lid.
